What about Low Fat Muffins?

Low Fat Muffins RECIPE

  • 1 and a 1/4 cup of all purpose flour.
  • Add half a tea spoon of baking soda.
  • Add half a tea spoon of baking powder.
  • Add half a tea spoon of grated nut-meg.
  • Add half a cup of dark brown sugar.
  • Whisk those ingredients together.
  • Add a cup of rolled oats.
  • Add half a cup of raisins.
  • Add cup and a half of grated carrots.
  • Add 1 large egg.
  • Add a third of a cup of skimmed milk.
  • Add 3 table spoons of olive oil.
  • Add 1 mashed banana.
  • Bake them in standard muffin tins that have been sprayed with vegetable spray.
  • Use an ice cream scoop to distribute the batter evenly.
  • Have your oven pre-heating to 300 degrees F.
  • Bake your muffins until a toothpick inserted in the center clean-23 to 25 minutes.
  • When the muffins are ready move them to a wire rack to cool down for a few minutes.
