Breakfast with Sausages

Vienna sausages anyone?

How to cook Vienna sausages for breakfast as it's done in the Caribbean? Let's see...


  • 1 tablespoon of tomato ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon of oliveoil
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 scotch bonnet pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of margarine
  • 1 onion
  • 1/4 tablespoon of fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 can of vienna sausage
  • place the sausage into a bowl
  • cut a quarter of the scotch bonnet pepper
  • chop it into little pieces
  • chop half of the onion into little pieces
  • chop half of the tomato into little pieces
  • cut the sausages into small pieces
  • put olive oil into the pan
  • put the sliced onions into the pan
  • turn heat down to low and let it cook for 2,3 minutes
  • add the pepper
  • then stir
  • add the sausage, tomato, pepper, ketchup and margarine
  • stir all of it
  • add a couple tablespoons of water
  • let it simmer for 3 minutes
  • add some chives Voila!
